THE ROCKINGDOWN MYSTERY THE RILLOBY FAIR MYSTERY THE RING O' BELLS. Ask for the other books in the series and make even firmer friends with Barney, the circus-boy, and his wicked little monkey Miranda, Roger and Diana and their mischievous cousin Snubby with his mad little spaniel Loony. Each of these books is about boys and girls like you, and there is plenty of fun with a really Mysterious Mystery, and a good dash of Adventure. There's nothing to beat a really good Mystery-Adventure story, and this splendid series by Enid Blyton is the best that you can find.

Each of the tales is short and simple and there are many line illustrations by Eileen Soper. There are stories of the little girl who lost her memory, a greedy teddy-bear, a bad-tempered fellow called Mister Stamp-About, and many, many more. Enid Blyton never preaches to her young readers, but skilfully manages to underline the moral behind the adventure. Her tales are exciting and yet have a true-to-life quality, so that children reading them can identify themselves with the characters.

MISS Enid Blyton's genius for telling stories is clearly shown in this charming little book.
